Volleyball Recap: Glennallen Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glennallen can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dillingham Wolverines on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in October.

Glennallen started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-23.

Glennallen's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 35-20. As for Dillingham, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Glennallen nor Dillingham have any future games scheduled.
