Nunam Iqua had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past the Ignatius Beans Strivers 32-30.

Ignatius Beans is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Nunam Iqua didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-31 defeat against Emmonak on the 15th. Ignatius Beans does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
