Chatham had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 24-run drubbing they dealt Germantown on Monday. The Panthers blew past the Clippers 25-1. Considering the Panthers have won four matches by more than ten runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Chatham, bringing their record up to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Germantown, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chatham will face off against Greenville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Germantown, they will welcome Windham-Ashland-Jewett at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
