When it comes to explaining why Nokomis lost, don't look at Daryl Evans. Despite the final result, he rushed for 129 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Evans is now averaging an impressive 100.4 rushing yards per game.

Nokomis' loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Casey-Westfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.
