It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Coral Glades ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They snuck past the Coral Springs Charter Panthers with a 12-6 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won 13 matches in a row.

Coral Glades didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Madison Watts.

When it comes to explaining why Coral Springs Charter lost, don't look at Ali Rodriquez. Despite the final result, she rushed for 50 yards and one TD, and also threw for 225 yards while completing 75% of her passes.

Coral Glades' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.0 point on average over those games. As for Coral Springs Charter, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
