Basic had won five straight games and Mia Frias did her part to make it six on Monday. The Basic Wolves strolled past the Sunrise Mountain Miners with points to spare, taking the game 52-34 thanks in part to Frias, who posted 30 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Basic's points.

Basic's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. As for Sunrise Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Basic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-38 victory against Del Sol on the 29th. As for Sunrise Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-27 loss against Canyon Springs on the 28th.
