Baseball Recap: Sycamore Comes Up Short

Sycamore made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Springfield, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The War Eagles fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the War Eagles in their meetings with the Yellow Jackets: they've now lost five in a row.

Sycamore's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Springfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

Looking ahead, Sycamore will welcome Cheatham County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Springfield, they will head out to face off against Station Camp at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
