After a string of four wins, Highline's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 73-51 to the Interlake Saints. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-25.

Interlake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tiffany Shaw led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine assists. Shaw's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Moore, who went 10 for 18 en route to 23 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Highline now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Interlake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.

Highline is taking a road trip to square off against Cedarcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cedarcrest will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Highline surely won't give up without a fight. As for Interlake, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Foster at 5:45 p.m. Interlake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
