Softball Recap: Jimtown Jimmies vs. Glenn Falcons
Jimtown's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Glenn Falcons 13-3. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Jimmies considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Lilly Gaugler made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Skyler Pello was incredible, going 3-for-4 with six RBI and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Kendal McPhee was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four runs, one double, and one RBI.
Jimtown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Jimtown's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Glenn, they dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
