Baseball Game Preview: Dixie County Bears vs. West Port Wolf Pack

The Dixie County Bears will challenge the West Port Wolf Pack at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Port took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dixie County, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Dixie County turned things around against Chiefland on Friday. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 7-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Dixie County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gray Wampler, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, West Port was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 11-1 to Madison County.

Dixie County's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for West Port, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
