Football Game Preview: Suncoast Chargers vs. South Fork Bulldogs

Suncoast is on a three-game streak of home wins, while South Fork is on an eight-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Chargers will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Suncoast 9.4, South Fork 5.4) so any points scored will be well earned.

Suncoast is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 40 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Jupiter on Thursday. They took a 22-7 bruising from the Warriors. The Chargers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, South Fork was not the first on the board last Thursday, but they got there more often. They blew past Cardinal Newman 27-6. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine matchups by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Suncoast's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for South Fork, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.
