Volleyball Recap: Boone County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Boone County lost against Newport Central Catholic back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rebels fell just short of the Thoroughbreds by a score of 3-2. While the Rebels didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Thoroughbreds 25-21 in the first set.

Boone County took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 26-24, 23-25, 25-13, 16-14.

Boone County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season. As for Newport Central Catholic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-15.

Boone County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Ludlow on the 15th. As for Newport Central Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Dixie Heights on the 16th.
