Volleyball Game Preview: Northgate Vikings vs. McIntosh Chiefs

Northgate hasn't had much luck against McIntosh recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Vikings will face off against the Chiefs at 1:30 p.m. Northgate is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Last Thursday, Northgate beat Landmark Christian 2-0.

Meanwhile, McIntosh was able to grind out a solid victory over Dutchtown on Thursday, taking the game 2-0. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: McIntosh took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15.

Northgate's record now sits at 17-21. As for McIntosh, their record is now 36-9.

Northgate came up short against McIntosh in their previous meeting back in September, falling 2-0. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
