Basketball Recap: Immaculate Conception Takes a Loss

Immaculate Conception was the 67-66 winner over Payne Tech when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Immaculate Conception Lions fell to the Payne Tech Lions 59-55. Immaculate Conception has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Immaculate Conception's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Payne Tech, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Immaculate Conception and Arts will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Immaculate Conception is facing Arts at the right time seeing as Arts is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Payne Tech, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Newark Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
