Basketball Game Preview: Bangor Christian Patriots vs. Schenck Wolverines

The Bangor Christian Patriots are taking a road trip to take on the Schenck Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Bangor Christian sitting on four straight victories and Schenck on 13.

On Saturday, Bangor Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Greenville, taking the game 57-45.

Meanwhile, Schenck faced Machias in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Schenck managed a 46-41 victory over Machias.

Bangor Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Schenck, their win was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Bangor Christian came up short against Schenck when the teams last played on January 3rd, falling 44-31. Can Bangor Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
