There's no place like home for McAlester, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 21-15 victory over the Durant Lions on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Buffaloes also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

McAlester was led to victory by Jordan Clark and Brandon Smith. Clark rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, while Smith picked up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown. Smith also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
