Volleyball Game Preview: St. Augustine Catholic Wolves vs. Amphitheater Panthers

The St. Augustine Catholic Wolves will take on the Amphitheater Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

St. Augustine Catholic lost 3-0 to St. John Paul II Catholic on Tuesday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Amphitheater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Walden Grove, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-21.

Amphitheater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Augustine Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

St. Augustine Catholic might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Amphitheater when the teams last played back in April of 2022.
