Recap: Mize Bulldogs vs. Clarkdale Bulldogs
The Mize Bulldogs lost against the Clarkdale Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Mize fell 61-52 to Clarkdale. Mize has not had much luck with Clarkdale recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Cade Culpepper was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds for Clarkdale. The contest was Culpepper's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ladonya Adams, who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals.
Mize's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-7. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Clarkdale, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Mize will head out on the road to face off against Stringer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Clarkdale won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sebastopol at 7:30 p.m. on December 9th.
