Soccer Recap: Sierra Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Sierra was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Patterson Tigers, falling 5-0. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Sierra was without their leading scorer, Alejandro Sanchez, in Tuesday's game. With Sanchez sidelined, Neddy Ramos got his first action of the season.

Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Patterson, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-0-4 record this season.

Sierra has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Mountain House on the 16th. As for Patterson, they will square off against East Union at 6:15 p.m. on January 21st. Patterson is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
