Softball Recap: Long Beach Takes a Loss

Long Beach fell victim to George County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. The Bearcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Long Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for George County, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home.

While Long Beach had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
