Brunswick and Middletown are an even 4-4-1 against one another since September of 2015, but likely not for long. The Railroaders will square off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Brunswick sitting on four straight victories and Middletown on five.

Brunswick gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Smithsburg. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 30, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middletown). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Clear Spring on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Middletown's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Brunswick, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2-1.

Brunswick beat Middletown by a goal in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Railroaders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
