Basketball Recap: Frazier Takes a Loss

Frazier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions, falling 59-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Commodores this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 89-45 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Frazier lost, don't look at Brant Alekson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave Alekson a new career-high in rebounds.

Frazier's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Frazier will head out to face off against Riverview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, they will welcome Clairton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
