Western Michigan Christian entered their tilt with Ludington on Wednesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Orioles 9-1. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Max Miller was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Will Liggett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Caleb McKay was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Western Michigan Christian pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Ludington, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-13.
