Glen Ridge and New Providence squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Glen Ridge had to settle for second. They took a 42-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Providence Pioneers. The Ridgers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Glen Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for New Providence, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.
