Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Skyline lost against Kate Duncan Smith DAR back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings took a 69-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (62), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Skyline and nudges their season record down to 4-6. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points over those games. As for Kate Duncan Smith DAR, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Skyline and Oakwood Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 55 points in their last six games. As for Kate Duncan Smith DAR, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Woodville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 68.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
