Basketball Game Preview: North Fayette Valley vs. Turkey Valley Trojans

North Fayette Valley will venture away from home to take on the Turkey Valley Trojans at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. North Fayette Valley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, North Fayette Valley was able to grind out a solid win over West Central, taking the game 43-31.

Meanwhile, Turkey Valley hadn't done well against Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Turkey Valley came out on top against Central by a score of 44-34. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Turkey Valley pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for North Fayette Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

North Fayette Valley ended up a good deal behind Turkey Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, losing 56-42. Can North Fayette Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
