Volleyball Recap: Boron Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Boron lost against Mammoth back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bobcats came up short against the Huskies, falling 3-0. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-13.

Angel Hall paced Boron's offense, picking up four kills. Hall got some help from Aaliyah Davis and her six assists. Davis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Mammoth can attribute much of their success to Andrea Morales, who had 14 assists and three aces. Those 14 assists gave Morales a new career-high.

Boron's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16-1. As for Mammoth, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 29-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Boron is set to challenge their familiar foe Rosamond at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mammoth will take on rival California City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
