Kaine Hill Goes Supernova in Springtown Victory

Starting off the list is Springtown's Kaine Hill, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hill threw for 217 yards and six touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Springtown, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Hill and Springtown will square off against Eastern Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Thanks in part to Elijah Jones, Western Hills said goodbye to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season. Nobody could stop Jones on Thursday as he rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.

Western Hills' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Jones and Western Hills will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on October 17th.

Decatur found a leader in Jed Ross as the squad took down Eastern Hills on Friday. Nobody could stop Ross as he threw for 171 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

The victory got Decatur back to even at 3-3. Ross and Decatur will take on Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rodney Hill Puts an End to Western Hills' Losing Streak on Thursday

Western Hills's six-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Rodney Hill. Hill did his part (and then some), rushing for 35 yards and three touchdowns for the 'W'.

For the season, Hill has averaged 29.3 passing yards per game.

For the year, Smith has averaged 6.7 total tackles per game.
