Soccer Game Preview: West vs. Hunter

The West Panthers will face off against the Hunter Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. West's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a proper cat-fight when West faced off against Kearns on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Cougars who were credited with the win. Kearns got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to West's three.

West will be up against a hot Hunter team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Wolverines walked away with a 3-1 victory over West Jordan on Friday. Three seems to be a good number for Hunter as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit West Jordan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sebastian Ramirez, Kallin Banza, and Roland Banza.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Hunter, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
