Softball Recap: Alta Loma Comes Up Short

After flying high against Colony on Wednesday, Alta Loma came back down to earth. The Braves fell just short of the Los Altos Conquerors by a score of 8-6 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Conquerors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 last Wednesday.

Isabella Galindo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. Lexi Rodriguez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Alta Loma's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Los Altos, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alta Loma will face off against rival San Dimas at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Los Altos is set to square off against their familiar foe Colony at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
