Mohave Accelerated had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Heritage Academy Heroes as they made off with  a  13-6 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Kennedy Lamb was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out 14 batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned  (and two unearned) runs off   nine  hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances with one  home run and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Tanner Banks and  Megan Jones did most of the damage at the plate:  Banks  fired off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances, while  Jones  fired off two  home runs, four  RBI,  and one  stolen base while going 2-for-4. Those  two  home runs gave  Jones a new career-high.  Rayli Marin was another key player,  getting on base  in four of her six plate appearances with four  runs and one  stolen base.
 Mohave Accelerated was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .571. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .310 or higher in 22 consecutive  games.
Mohave Accelerated's victory was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 24-2. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Heritage Academy, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 19-3.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mohave Accelerated beat the Heroes by a score of  7-5 later that day.
