Basketball Recap: Kiski Area Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Kiski Area hadn't done well against Hampton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Kiski Area Cavaliers walked away with a 46-35 victory over the Hampton Talbots. This was a revenge game for the Cavaliers: when they faced off against the Talbots back in December of 2024, they had to take a 50-44 loss.

Kiski Area has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Hampton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Coincidentally, Kiski Area and Hampton will both be playing Indiana the next time they take the court. Kiski Area will host Indiana at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Hampton will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
