Recap: Cordova Blue Devils vs. Dora Bulldogs
The Cordova Blue Devils pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dora. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cordova of the 46-34 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Camdan Hines continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dora, scoring 16 points along with four steals. Hines has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Josh Williams, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Cordova has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Dora, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-9.
Cordova will head out on the road to square off against Cold Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dora, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sumiton Christian at 4:30 p.m.
