Football Recap: West Bladen Comes Up Short

After flying high against Union two weeks ago, West Bladen came back down to earth. The Knights were beaten by the Whiteville Wolfpack 34-7 on Friday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Wolfpack recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

West Bladen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Whiteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

West Bladen wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-7 loss against Fairmont on the 10th. As for Whiteville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 53-7 victory against South Brunswick on the 10th.
