Elysian Fields came out on top against Beckville on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Yellowjackets walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Bearcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on John Beavers, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Tanner Starr was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Elysian Fields and bumps their season record up to 10-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Beckville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
