Middle Creek posted their closest win since October 7, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Holly Springs Golden Hawks 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

The victory didn't come easy: Holly Springs scored at least 14 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-18, 25-20, 17-25, 16-14.

Finley Brennan paced Middle Creek's offense, picking up 13 kills. Brennan got some help from Leigh Finger and her 31 assists. Ella Lancaster controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Middle Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Holly Springs, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-7.

As of now, neither Middle Creek nor the Golden Hawks have any future games scheduled.
