Basketball Game Preview: Seguin Matadors vs. Brackenridge Eagles

The Seguin Matadors will square off against the Brackenridge Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Seguin is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since November 19, 2024 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 80-40 loss at the hands of Burbank. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Brackenridge waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 62-35 win over the Mustangs. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Brackenridge has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Seguin, their loss dropped their record down to 12-16.
