Baseball Game Preview: St. Albans Bulldogs vs. Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas

For the second straight game, St. Albans will face off against Georgetown Prep. The Bulldogs will square off against the Little Hoyas at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, St. Albans didn't have quite enough to beat Georgetown Prep and fell 2-1. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Little Hoyas recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

St. Albans got a good showing from Preston Benner, who tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Benner has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

St. Albans' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Georgetown Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.
