Soccer Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

Freedom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hylton Bulldogs. Freedom were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Hylton earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Hylton, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5-2 and their overall record up to 2-5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Freedom will face off against rival Woodbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hylton is set to challenge their familiar foe Potomac Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
