Preview: Trinity Christian Tigers vs. Christ Covenant Spartan
The Trinity Christian Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Christ Covenant Spartan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Even though Victory Christian scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, Trinity Christian still came out on top. Trinity Christian took down Victory Christian 71-55.
Carter Jordan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Trinity Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Davenport, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Christ Covenant didn't have too much trouble with Northeast Academy at home last Friday as they won 54-39. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Christ Covenant has managed all season.
Trinity Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Christ Covenant, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.
Trinity Christian won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, slipping by Christ Covenant 46-45. Does Trinity Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Christ Covenant turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
