It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Stevens Point had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Green Bay Preble Hornets 7-6. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Stevens Point got a massive performance out of Sophia Abundiz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Abundiz has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Roth, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Stevens Point was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .364 or higher in nine consecutive games.

Stevens Point's win bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Green Bay Preble, their loss dropped their record down to 25-2.

As of now, neither Stevens Point nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
