Basketball Recap: St. John Comes Up Short

St. John was the 62-48 winner over North Iberville when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 62-51 to the Bears on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. John's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for North Iberville, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-12.

Coming up, St. John will challenge East Iberville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' defense better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 57.2 points per game this season. As for North Iberville, they will square off against Ascension Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
