Hialeah-Miami Lakes had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Horeb Christian Mustangs by a score of 59-52 on Tuesday. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Horeb Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ifeanyi Ezeala, who went 7 for 9 en route to 18 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. That's the most points Ezeala has posted since back in February of 2024. Jonathan Gonzalez was another key player, putting up 14 points and four steals.

Hialeah-Miami Lakes' victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Horeb Christian, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
