Softball Recap: Madras Comes Up Short

Madras fell victim to Crook County and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cowboys, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, with their most recent defeat being a 17-0 loss two weeks ago.

Madras' loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Crook County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Madras will host Estacada at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crook County, they will face off against Gladstone at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Gladiators will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Cowboys surely won't give up without a fight.
