Volleyball Recap: Lee Williams Comes Up Short

Lee Williams was the 3-1 winner over Tempe when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Volunteers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffaloes on Thursday.

While Lee Williams ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Lee Williams' loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Tempe, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-13.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lee Williams is set to take on their familiar foe Bradshaw Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tempe will square off against rival Desert Sunrise at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
