Basketball Recap: Blackman Gets the Win

The Blackman Blaze were able to grind out a solid victory over the Nolensville Knights on Tuesday, taking the game 43-32. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blaze.

Blackman found their leader in sophomore Layla Hall, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. Hall continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Amirah Herring was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Blackman's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Nolensville, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 10-3 record.

Blackman has already played their next game, a 45-43 victory against Lipscomb Academy on the 31st. As for Nolensville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-45 win against Bartlett on the 31st.
