John F. Kennedy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Brackenridge Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While John F. Kennedy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John F. Kennedy will be taking part in a tournament against Burbank at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Brackenridge, they will be playing at home against Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
