Basketball Recap: Johnson Creek Takes a Loss

Johnson Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 65-23 defeat at the hands of the Deerfield Demons. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 467th, while the Demons are ranked 118th).

Johnson Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Deerfield, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

Johnson Creek will host Madison Country Day at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Deerfield, they will venture away from home to face off against Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
