Basketball Recap: Navajo Comes Up Short

Navajo lost against Leedey back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Navajo Indians were beaten by the Leedey Bison 72-43. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 358th, while the Bison are ranked 63rd).

Navajo's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Leedey, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Navajo has already played their next matchup, a 66-49 defeat against Arnett on the 24th. As for Leedey, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-40 win against Hobart on the 24th.
