Football Recap: Amherst Falls to Doniphan-Trumbull in First Game of Season

Amherst unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals 36-7 on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Looking ahead, Amherst will head out to challenge St. Cecilia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Doniphan-Trumbull, they will host Centura at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
